This place has Taiwanese bentos, noodles/soup, cold side dishes and frozen dumplings. The menu offers a variety of items the whole family or a group of friends can find something to eat. The restaurant is tiny with just a few seating inside; it is mainly a takeout place. If you are looking for a bento made to order and neatly packaged, look no further! My go-to are the porkchop rice bento or beef shank rice bento. The bentos come with meat, rice, marinated egg/tofu/ground pork, pickled mustard greens and a side of veggies (stir fried cabbage, bean sprouts, etc.). The porkchop hits the spot, it is perfectly breaded - not too oily and never soggy, boneless, savory and slightly sweet. The beef shanks may look plain without garnish or chile oil, but it is flavorful and tender. Service is straightforward, order by calling in or at the restaurant. You will usually see people waiting outside for take out orders. Cash is preferred, but they will take credit card with a minimum order of $30.

We love this place! The food is amazing and tastes like home :). (Definitely worthy of 5 Stars). The only reason why I left off one star is due to the customer service. One of the ladies in there always makes you feel like you owe her a millions bucks... maybe she's just having many many bad days.

I really like their beef shank/slices. My children who are vegetarians really like their vegetarian bentos. I don't really know where else to get lu wei so this spot is it for me!

Solid homey food at reasonable prices. Bento boxes are great for takeout. Go to choices are chicken and pork chop or stewed beef and smoked chicken. Noodle soups are also good. Beef noodle or pork and preserved vegetables are nice on a cold day.
